Sea Winds for Concert Band - by Frank Cogollos

Program Notes: Sea has always fascinated humans: its mystery, its power, its ever-changing precious surface togheter with its marine biodiversity . Sea attracts us. It produces an almost magical influence on people. Emotions such as serenity or strength accompany our thoughts when looking at the sea. Sea Winds is inspired by the different states of the sea. So when listening to it you can feel and imagine from a calm sea to a rough sea, from naval battles to the peace that it offers us. Sea Winds has been distinguished in the Warsaw Wind Ensemble Composition Contest 2020(Poland) and Bronze Medal Winner in the Global Music Awards(EEUU). Sea Winds has been dedicated to his wife, Lourdes Serra Caldentey.
